Laetrile 17-Plus has been formulated to assist in the prevention of cancer and may help during and post cancer treatments. B17 (nitriloside) is a Beta-cyanophoric glycoside which is non-toxic. The presence of nitriloside produces specific physiologic effects and amygdalin is a common nitriloside found in apricot kernels. B17 contains hydrogen cyanide, benzaldehyde and glucose. The cyanide is released by the beta-glucosidase enzyme that is present in minute quantities in the body but in huge quantities in cancer cells, thus the hydrogen cyanide is unlocked at the cancer site, which devastates the cancer cells, since the benzaldehyde unit unlocks at the same time. This combination results in the literal obliteration of the cancer cells, while leaving healthy cells unharmed. Rhodanese enzyme, present in healthy cells, completely breaks down excess cyanide and benzaldehyde into a silicate. This process specifically targets and destroys cancer cells. In addition to this, the active ingredient in Lemon grass, causes cancer cells to literally commit suicide. Grape seed and Rose hips are anti-oxidants, while zinc is required for the improved absorption of laetrile.
