Glyconutrients nourish the body at a cellular level; boosting the immune system. Glyco Life contains a blend of 8 naturally occurring sugars, specific carbohydrates called saccharides. Cells communicate by way of these saccharides, called glycoproteins. Two of these sugars are glucose and galactose often found in foods we eat, however the other sugars Mannose, Fructose, N-Acetyl glucosamine, N-Acetylgalactosamine, Xylose and N-Acetylneuraminic acid, are difficult to find in our daily diet. When ESSENTIAL sugars are taken, they bind themselves to cell receptor sites, located on the surface of cell membranes. These cells communicate by touching each other and the immune system is able to activate macrophages and other cells, to perform their innate function of protecting the being that owns these cells. Natural Killer cells and macrophages, are among the wide array of immune system cells, that patrol the body looking for difficulties. When a problem has been identified, a cellular defence team is summoned, in the form of messenger molecules, which initiate the immune response.
